We asked Rottweiler.Net for some advice. Of course, many suggested we should let her sleep in the house, preferably in our bedroom. Errr...we're not that keen on the idea and decided to do some experiments ourselves.

Tis is what Joshua did - he sat next to Confi inside her house for 10 minutes before her bedtime. When she was about to sleep, he slipped away quietly. It was a success...she slept through the night. Now, every night we applied the same routine.

So Joshua did his quiet time in the dog house...:D

Joshua, I saw an article on the internet. For us, the car porch or the backyard is the extension of our house. However, dogs get locked outside may think that they are abandoned unless you spend more time to play with them at their 'house' and put some toys for them for the past time, otherwise they will get very aggresive and become attention seeking. -Mei-
ReplyDeleteThanks Mei, this is what i did at Confi's house: Lot's of toys and playing at her house before sleep. Now she kind of adapt to it d & will go to her house whenever I ask. No more crying.
